The final objective ensures that attendees acquire and develop
the required levels of skill as they relate to mainstream sound
& music pre- and post-production.
Attendees will engage in scenario based applications of audio
and MIDI technology from both creative and theoretical
viewpoints and are eventually expected to be able to produce
their own projects towards a commercial standard. The skills
acquired through this training are fully portable and totally
platform and brand independent.
Alternative methods of approach to given tasks and procedures
are presented in the clearest and concise manner.
Core Topics
We can and do base our training day/s to follow
the process of production and arrangement from the beginning
e.g. microphone choice, wiring, placement, EQ, compression, etc.
through to basic tracking then on to overdubs then finally to
final mix where we discuss the use of digital signal processing
such as reverbs, multiband compression/limiting, psycho-acoustic
enhancement and mastering.
More Detail
We record VOCALS, ACOUSTIC GUITAR, ELECTRIC
GUITAR & BASS and in addition, when using VSTi's like GROOVE
AGENT or Battery, we would be routing different sounds to
different outputs simulating as fully as possible the
professional multitrack recording process.
